Das SNT-3051 SAS ist ein Aluminium-Wechselrahmen für fünf 2,5" oder 3,5" SAS, SATA I, II, III Festplatten in drei 5,25" Einbauschächten. Ein eingebauter 80mm Lüfter sorgt für die ausreichende Kühlung Ihrer Festplatten, die sich zudem über den in der Front integrierten Schalter ein- bzw. ausschalten lassen. Eine Verriegelung im Auszugsschacht verhindert die unbeabsichtigte Entnahme der Festplatte. Das SNT-3051 SAS wird mit zwei herkömmlichen 4-pin Molex Anschlüssen mit Strom versorgt.

Die SAS Version besitzt die, in den neuen Normen für SAS vorgesehenen, Dualport-Anschluß für Festplatten. Es können somit zwei Controller in einem Computer oder sogar 2 verschiedene Computer an diesem Wechselrahmen angeschlossen werden.
