NAVILOCK® NL-316R RDS/TMC Kabel - Yakumo Delta X GPS

Der NL-316R Adapter ist ein FM-Empfänger mit der RDS/TMC-Fähigkeit. Der NL-316R erweitert mobile Navigationssysteme mit integriertem GPS-Empfänger, welche nur GPS-Signale auswerten können, um die RDS/TMC-Funktionalität. Damit werden mobile Navigationssysteme und PDA's in die Lage versetzt, zusätzlich RDS/TMC-Signale zu nutzen. Mit Hilfe des NL-316R werden die empfangenen Verkehrsmeldungen an die Navigationssoftware weitergeleitet, diese kann damit eine alternative Route mit Berücksichtigung der aktuellen Verkehrssituation neu berechnen und so Verkehrsbehinderungen umgehen.

Anwendungsbereiche:

Seit Herbst 1997 werden in Deutschland als erstes Land in Europa flächendeckend automatisch generierte Verkehrswarnmeldungen auf der Basis hochaktueller Verkehrsdaten durch Rundfunkanstalten ausgestrahlt - RDS/TMC (Radio Data System/Traffic Message Channel) macht dies möglich. RDS/TMC-Autoradios haben sich ebenso wie RDS/TMC-gestützte Navigationssysteme etabliert. Für den Nutzer dieses Dienstes fallen, abgesehen von den Rundfunkgebühren, keine weiteren Kosten an.
